Raise the Woof

We can’t wait to Raise the Woof with you!

Over the past 12 years, SPCA East Texas has grown from a one-room office of 2 to a team of 20 staff members who are dedicated solely to the homeless pets of East Texas. Since 2010, our operation has greatly expanded and now currently operates in three separate locations in Tyler. Because our lifesaving programs and services rely almost exclusively on donor support, every dollar must be maximized.  In order to increase efficiency, reduce overhead and provide services to even more pets, we must consolidate our operations into one location.

The Raise the Woof Capital Campaign will provide the funds needed to renovate our newest building at 3245 West Grande in Tyler.  This campus setting will consolidate all operations into one building, maximizing our potential and reducing overhead.  By providing affordable spay/neuter/vaccination services to the public, reducing the stray population, and rescuing homeless and abandoned pets, our new campus will serve as the hub for animal welfare in East Texas.

SPCA East Texas has developed a formal plan for maximizing our potential. Animal welfare is at the forefront of everything we do at SPCA East Texas and we fully understand the needs of homeless pets. We also acknowledge that our current facilities do not efficiently and effectively maximize our services. With the recent purchase of a 16,000 sq ft building located in the heart of our community, this new campus will be adjacent to our Bark Park. With your help, we can Raise the Woof to fully renovate our new home, consolidate operations and serve the community for many years to come.

We’ve raised $1,063,500 so far!

Goal: $2,000,000

Naming Opportunities

This exciting project will create a very special place where animals are saved, where second chances are given, and where people and animals in East Texas come together to help, heal, learn, and love. Our future will be built entirely on gifts from generous people who understand and want to support the needs of animals in our community.
